Overview

MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded Strata insurer seeking an experienced Property Claims Consultant to join their SA Claims team. They're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and become a valued member of a close-knit, supportive team. This is a fantastic prospect to take ownership of your own portfolio, develop specialist strata expertise, and work alongside experienced claims professionals who genuinely enjoy what they do.

What Youll Be Doing

- Reporting directly to the Claims Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of property claims from first notification through to resolution.
- Managing end-to-end property and strata claims
- Assessing coverage, liability, and claim outcomes
- Liaising with brokers, insureds, assessors, builders, and repairers
- Coordinating repairs and claim investigations
- Negotiating settlements and delivering fair outcomes
- Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims process

What Youre Looking For





- Previous end-to-end Property Claims experience
- Demonstrated experience managing escape of liquid, burst pipe, water damage, or other complex property claims
- Exposure to Strata Claims or Body Corporate Claims highly regarded
- Strong understanding of building, construction, or property-related claims
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage a busy claims portfolio with confidence
- Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
