Kick-start your career outdoors with an apprenticeship and learn from experienced industry professionals.

We have 10x full-time opportunities available in our Apprenticeship Program based in Newcastle working across our major tree maintenance and vegetation management contracts. You'll gain hands on experience while studying towards a Certificate III in Arboriculture, developing the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career in the Tree industry. With exposure to diverse projects and work environments, no two days are the same.

Duties

As an Apprentice Arborist, you'll work alongside experienced team members while completing your formal training. Duties may include:





- Assisting with tree pruning and maintenance activities
- Ground support for climbing and tree crews
- Tree planting and vegetation management
- Weed and vegetation control
- Learning safe operation of arboriculture tools and equipment
- Traffic and worksite safety support
- Vehicle, equipment and tool maintenance
- Applying industry best practice safety standards and environmental principles

About You

- A current driver's licence (or be working towards obtaining one)
- A White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain
- A strong commitment to safety
- A robust work ethic and positive attitude
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Reliability and a commitment to working safely
