About the Role

You will teach a combination of Business, Economics and Humanities subjects within the Secondary School, creating engaging and contemporary learning experiences that challenge and support students to achieve their personal best.

As a valued member of our teaching team,



you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs while contributing to the pastoral care and holistic development of students through the College's Home Group program. Responsibilities align with the College's Home Group Teacher expectations outlined in the position description.

About You

You are an educator who:

- Is passionate about Business, Economics and Humanities education.

- Creates engaging, student-centred learning environments.

- Builds positive and authentic relationships with students, families and colleagues.

- Uses data and effective teaching practices to maximise student learning outcomes.

- Has excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills.

- Contributes positively to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.

- Supports and upholds the Christian ethos and values of the College.

- Is committed to continuous professional growth and innovation in teaching practice.

Essential Requirements

- Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.

- Qualifications relevant to Secondary Education.

- Demonstrated capability to teach Business, Economics and/or Humanities subjects.

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
