Kitchen Hand | Part-time Role | Aegis Alfred Carson (Claremont)

We are seeking energetic and experienced Kitchen Hands to join our team at Aegis Alfred Carson in Claremont.

Available Shifts

Week 1

- Tuesday: 15:30 - 19:00
- Wednesday: 15:30 - 19:00

Week 2

- Wednesday 0700-1400
- Wednesday: 15:30 - 19:00
- Thursday: 15:30 - 19:00

You should ideally be an empathetic person who:

- Enjoys working with the elderly.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends.
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

Aegis will provide:

A working day will involve:

- Preparing and serving residents' meals according to dietary and care plans in accordance with developed menus.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with infection control standards.
- Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.

You should possess the following:

- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or aged care industry.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking for large numbers of people.
- Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
- Full Australian working rights and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
