– Full-Time Kitchen Supervisor

Milky Lane Surfers Paradise is seeking a motivated and reliable Full-Time Kitchen Supervisor to join our kitchen team. Working under the guidance and support of our Head Chef, you will help oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise team members and ensure food quality, cleanliness and service standards are consistently maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional looking to develop their leadership skills within a structured and supportive kitchen environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef, who will provide ongoing guidance, training and support to help you succeed in the role.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service.
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Ensuring food quality, presentation and portion control meet company standards.
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
- Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and minimising food wastage.




- Delegating tasks and ensuring team members complete their duties efficiently.
- Supporting the training and development of kitchen staff.
- Following established recipes, procedures and operational guidelines.
- Communicating effectively with the Head Chef, management and front-of-house team.
- Helping maintain an organised, efficient and positive kitchen environment.

About you: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a commercial kitchen, strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example. You should be organised, dependable, proactive and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

You will be supported by an experienced Head Chef and management team, with clear direction and guidance provided to help you perform your responsibilities confidently.

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as rostered.
