Are you passionate about food and ready to be a vital part of a dynamic kitchen team? Heyder & Shears is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our Head Office kitchen in East Perth.

Working under the guidance of our Kitchen Management Team you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. From assisting with food prep to maintaining a spotless workspace, your support helps our chefs focus on what they do best – creating exceptional cuisine.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Assisting in basic food preparation – washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
- Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment
- Washing dishes, cookware, and utensils to keep service flowing
- Organising supplies and helping with inventory management




- Ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Receiving and storing deliveries following food safety guidelines
- Supporting event setup and breakdown as needed
- Following strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Providing general assistance to the kitchen team as required

What We’re Looking For:

- A team player with a solid work ethic and outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Valuable communication and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not essential)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $40.27 per hour
