About the role

MAINWORX is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer/Driver to join our team on a full-time basis in Sydney NSW. This is a hands-on position that combines physical labour with driving responsibilities, playing a key role in the successful delivery of our projects and services. You will be integral to maintaining our operations and ensuring our clients receive the high-quality service they expect from MAINWORX.

What you'll be doing

- Learn and assist with the roofing and carpentry trades
- Performing general labouring duties on site, including site preparation, material handling, and basic groundwork tasks
- Operating and maintaining company vehicles and trailers to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas and vehicles
- Following all health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Supporting the wider team to meet project deadlines and maintain client satisfaction
- Performing routine vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Liaising with supervisors and team members to communicate progress and any concerns on site

What we're looking for

- A valid Australian driving licence
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour on roofs, scaffolds, ladders and the like
- Demonstrated experience in labouring, construction, or a related trades environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting project timelines




- A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn current skills
- Preferred: Experience operating light commercial vehicles with trailers and familiarity with site-based work
