Role Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Lead Cost Controller to join a major gold project as it progresses towards full-scale execution.

This is a 100% office-based role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of cost control across a significant project with a substantial pre-execution budget. With construction activity ramping up and the wider project team expected to grow considerably, this is a great time to join and play a key role in the projects development. Benefits:

Essential Skills & Requirements:

- Solid experience in a Lead or Senior Cost Controller position
- Previous experience supporting large-scale mining, resources, engineering or construction projects
- Strong understanding of project cost control, forecasting and reporting
- Power BI experience highly preferred, with an existing reporting model already established
- Advanced Excel and strong data analysis capabilities
- Ability to interpret cost data and communicate key information clearly to project stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Duties & Responsibilities:





- Lead cost control activities across the project
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, commitments and actual costs
- Maintain accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilise Power BI to support project reporting and cost visibility
- Monitor cost performance and identify potential trends or variances
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project leadership
- Work closely with project, commercial and construction teams as activity ramps up
- Support the project through its current development phase and into full execution
