About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lending Specialist, Broker Development Manager or similar banking professional to take the next step in their career.

If you're currently working within a bank, you understand lending, credit requirements and the customer journey — but may sometimes feel restricted by only being able to offer your bank's products, this role provides the opportunity to work across 60+ lenders and consider a much broader range of options for your customers.

You'll combine your lending knowledge with a genuinely customer-centric approach, taking the time to understand each client's circumstances, goals and bigger financial picture before guiding them towards appropriate lending solutions.

You'll also have the opportunity to build your own client portfolio,



supported by SWB's established marketing, referral and administrative infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage robust, long-term client relationships ensuring an exceptional client experience EVERY time.
- Understand each client's financial position, goals and lending requirements.
- Assess and structure lending solutions across a broad range of lenders.
- Guide and educate clients throughout the lending process.
- Proactively develop and grow your client portfolio.
- Build relationships and generate opportunities through referrals and networking.
- Stay up to date with lending products, policies and industry requirements.
- Continually identify opportunities to improve your knowledge, skills and results.

About You We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' lending experience who is ready to broaden their horizons.

You may currently be working as a Lending Specialist, Broker Development Manager, Personal Banker or in another lending-focused role within a bank.

You'll ideally be someone who:

- Has solid knowledge of lending processes, policies and requirements.
- Is genuinely customer-focused and takes the time to understand the bigger picture.




- Enjoys guiding and educating customers rather than simply processing transactions.
- Wants the freedom to consider lending options across multiple lenders.
- Is commercially minded and motivated to build a strong client portfolio.
- Takes accountability for their results and follows through on commitments.
- Is hungry to learn, improve and continually develop professionally.
- Is proactive, driven and comfortable taking ownership of their opportunities.
