Licensed Electrician – HVAC Operations Supervisor (Office-Based)

Pay: $48–$55 per hour + superannuation

About the Role A growing Sydney air conditioning business is seeking a licensed electrician to oversee daily operations, coordinate installation teams and assist with business expansion.

This position is ideal for an experienced electrician looking to move away from physically demanding work and transition into an office-based management role.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit, assess and onboard installation subcontractors.
- Allocate jobs and manage installer schedules.
- Oversee electrical safety and compliance.
- Coordinate materials, suppliers and trade accounts.
- Conduct occasional site inspections and quality checks.
- Assist with technical planning and troubleshooting.
- Manage daily operations and installation teams.
- Help develop operational procedures and support business growth.

Requirements
- Current NSW electrical licence – essential.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
- Positive organisational and communication skills.




- Ability to coordinate jobs and manage subcontractors.
- Basic computer and administrative skills.
- Current driver's licence.

Highly Regarded but Not Essential
- Air conditioning and refrigeration qualifications or licences.
- Experience installing split-system or ducted air conditioning.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.

Training Provided

Training will be provided in our booking systems, scheduling software, recruitment processes, administration and internal management procedures.
