SMAART Recruitment is looking for a relationship-focused recruitment professional to join our Adelaide team in a newly evolved growth role.

This isn't a traditional 360 recruitment position, and it's not a pure sales role.

Instead, you'll focus on building strong client relationships, growing existing accounts, re-engaging dormant clients, and identifying current opportunities across our client portfolio.

If you're an experienced recruiter who enjoys the commercial side of the industry, loves meeting clients and naturally spots opportunities, this could be the perfect next step.

The Prospect:

As our Client Relationship Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening and growing our client base throughout South Australia.

Working closely with our Adelaide and national teams, you'll become a trusted advisor to clients while helping uncover opportunities that drive growth for both our clients and our business.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Re-engage dormant clients and rebuild partnerships
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market engagement
- Identify recent opportunities within existing accounts
- Partner closely with recruiters to help convert opportunities into successful outcomes
- Maintain accurate ATS records and activity
- Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for clients
- Build strong market presence across Adelaide and South Australia

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

- Previous recruitment industry experience
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach




- Confidence engaging with hiring managers and business leaders
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed

About the Role

In this role you will work across both CMS Penelope administration and customer engagement functions, ensuring clients, families and stakeholders receive responsive, accurate and professional support.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within Penelope
- Complete data entry, document management and administrative processing activities
- Monitor information quality and support data integrity requirements
- Assist with reporting, record audits and compliance activities
- Support service teams with client administration and system-related enquiries

- Provide support across the full client lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to service commencement and ongoing engagement
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
- Guide clients, families and stakeholders through access and onboarding processes
- Build positive relationships and deliver a high
