They needed more and knew that people with disabilities could have more independence, choice, and control in their lives. What are we looking for?

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Support Team Lead in Kangaroo Flat, VIC to join our mission of setting a new standard for support. Are you confident supporting younger clients who are non-verbal, have complex behaviors of concern, and are passionate about providing person-centered support? Seeking a positive and experienced Support Team Lead with experience as a Disability Support Worker and a willingness to commit to 10 hours of permanent work per week, with some flexibility with remote hours.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Provide face-to-face support work - This will be focused on building rapport with the client, supporting the client with autism, non-verbal and behaviours.

Handle rostering, recruiting, and training staff.

Attending meetings with the client, parents, and the Hireup manager.

Any admin duties relating to the clients' support.

Experience required:





Disability Sector knowledge – experience working with clients living with a disability; supporting a client who is non-verbal and autistic.

Recruitment, management, or leadership experience

Experience implementing & recognising restrictive practices

Experience working with behaviors of concern & personal care

Communicating with Allied Health & Stakeholders

Community access/school pick up & transport

Current Shift Availability:

Must be available for the following face-to-face shift:

Wednesday afternoons (from 2:30pm for school pick up)

Remaining hours will be admin duties

Possibility for extra hours as support worker with the client

Mandatory Requirements:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Full First Aid

Right to work within Australia

Working with children check

Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check

Reliable car and a full Australian Driver's License
