Job Title: Mobile Plant / Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay rate: $45ph penalties OT

Mon-Fri (6:30am - 5pm)

Employment Type: Temp to Perm

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join a leading Australian mobile crushing, screening, and materials processing provider. You will be operating heavy earthmoving plant to feed high-capacity crushers, screens, pugmills, and blenders across quarry, mining, and civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders to feed processing plant, manage stockpiles, and handle raw materials.

Maintain optimal feed rates into mobile crushers, screening units, and blending equipment.

Complete pre-start checklists, assist with routine machine maintenance, and perform basic fault troubleshooting to minimise downtime.

Adhere strictly to site WHS procedures, environmental regulations (e.g., dust and noise controls), and site-specific safety plans.

Key Requirements





Prior experience operating heavy mobile plant or heavy civil equipment ( 50T excavators and 40T loaders ).

Familiarity working alongside mobile crushing, screening, or Pugmill processing plant is highly regarded.

Strong commitment to health, safety, and operational standards.

Self-motivated with a high work ethic and flexibility for site deployment.
