About the role Van Dough is seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position where you will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis and decision-making across the organisation. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing valuable financial insights that drive business performance and contribute to the achievement of our corporate objectives.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements

- Developing and managing budgets across departments, including forecasting and variance analysis

- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for cost optimisation

- Providing financial reporting and performance metrics to support management decision-making

- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and financial controls

- Collaborating with operational teams to understand financial requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions

- Supporting the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals for proposed initiatives

- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

What we're looking for

- A recognised accounting qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA, or equivalent relevant experience

- Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial analysis within a commercial environment

- Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced spreadsheet skills





- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements
