BARK is a cafe and small bar in Subiaco, serving coffee, food and cocktails alongside regular events and private functions. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

About the role

You will work closely with the owner, kitchen and bar teams to deliver excellent customer service, manage staff and keep the venue running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily cafe and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Lead, train and support staff across the venue.

Prepare rosters, check timesheets and manage staffing requirements.

Maintain consistent standards for coffee, food, drinks and customer service.

Manage reservations, customer enquiries and complaints.

Coordinate private functions, group bookings,



quiz nights, jazz nights and bottomless sessions.

Manage supplier orders, stocktakes, deliveries and stock rotation.

Monitor sales, labour costs and wastage against agreed budgets.

Oversee cash handling, POS transactions and daily reconciliation.

Maintain food safety, hygiene, responsible alcohol service and workplace safety standards.

Work with the owner on menus, promotions and business improvements.

Support the team on the floor during busy service periods.

Pay: From $79,000.00 per year
