About the Role

We are seeking experienced Master Schedulers for two opportunities supporting a Federal Government department’s IT transformation and infrastructure modernisation projects. You will develop and maintain integrated schedules, coordinate dependencies across delivery teams and provide transparent reporting to support informed decisions and timely delivery.

Based in Canberra or Melbourne, these opportunities offer hybrid working arrangements and $140–$150 per hour including superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and detailed work breakdown structures using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate schedules across internal teams, external delivery partners and service providers.
- Track milestones, manage dependencies and assess the impact of schedule changes.
- Identify scheduling risks, resolve complex issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare schedule, financial and progress reporting for executive and governance forums.




- Support project planning, cost and capacity modelling, PMO activities and capability development.

Skills & Experience

- Extensive experience developing and managing schedules for complex IT projects and programs.
- Advanced Microsoft Project skills, including detailed scheduling and work breakdown structures.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, governance and dependency management.
- Experience supporting financial tracking, resource planning and executive reporting.
- Proven stakeholder management skills across technical teams and multi-vendor environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 collaboration and reporting tools.
