Be part of something fresh from day one! Brumby’s Secret Harbour is opening in late October, and we’re looking for enthusiastic casual Retail Team Members to join our brand-current team. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new bakery, create a welcoming local store and give every customer a friendly, memorable experience.

About the role:

This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You’ll help customers choose from our freshly baked range, process sales accurately and keep the bakery looking inviting throughout the day.

What you’ll be doing:

- Welcome customers and provide warm, attentive service




- Assist customers with product selections and answer questions about our range
- Process purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments responsibly
- Restock and present bread, sweet and savoury products so displays remain fresh and appealing
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming front-of-house environment
- Support opening, closing and day-to-day bakery retail operations
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Work closely with the team and bring a positive, can-do attitude to every shift

What you’ll bring:

- A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine interest in helping customers
- Strong communication and listening skills
- A reliable, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- Confidence working in a busy retail environment and managing multiple tasks
- Positive attention to detail when processing sales and presenting products
- Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience is highly desirable, but not essential
- Availability to work a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends
- A neat, skilled presentation
