Little Learners Love Literacy® is a small primary education publishing company based in Surrey Hills with our warehouse based in Nunawading. Our mission is to provide teachers and parents with the tools they need to teach children to read, write and spell with confidence. We believe all children can love literacy.

We are an experienced and friendly organisation looking for aWarehouse Assistantwith a good attention to detail and a strong sense of teamwork to join our team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure prompt delivery of well-presented packages to all of our customers - schools, individuals and distributors.

Some of your responsibilities but not limited to are:

- Picking orders accurately using picking slips in a timely manner
- Undertaking general warehouse duties, as required
- Use of the forklift - Comfortable with Electric High Reach & Gas Counter balance




- Packing and preparing orders for shipment using our online booking portal
- Work with team members to ensure picking and packing efficiencies
- Receiving/Unloading deliveries, including containers
- Housekeeping of work environment
- Basic administrative duties, Stocktakes,as required
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work workplace

About you:

The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a warehouse doing pick packing work (desirable but not essential). Good attention to detail is essential.You must also be able to lift heavy boxes (up to 15-20kg) - trolley and equipment will be provided as required. Willingness to learn and good communication skills are also essential. Basic computer skills would be useful in this role. Having a forklift license and a drivers license is required.
