We are seeking a friendly, professional and motivated Medical Receptionist and Enrolled Endorsed Nurse to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a caring approach to patient care, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy medical practice. This is a diverse role combining front-desk administration with clinical nursing support.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Reception Duties

- Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Answer phone calls, manage appointments and respond to patient enquiries.
- Process patient registrations, billing, Medicare claims and payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage correspondence.
- Liaise with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Enrolled Endorsed Nurse Duties

- Provide nursing care and clinical support to doctors and patients.
- Perform clinical procedures within your scope of practice.
- Assist with immunisations, wound care, dressings and health assessments, as appropriate to your qualifications and competencies.
- Monitor and record vital signs and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Assist with infection prevention and control, sterilisation and clinical room preparation.

Essential Requirements

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Previous experience in medical reception and/or general practice nursing is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn medical practice software.
- A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, workplace safety and infection control.
