Toowoomba Haematology & Oncology Clinic is a growing specialist practice providing comprehensive care for patients with blood disorders, blood cancers and solid organ cancers. Our broader practice also includes The Iron Infusion Clinic, a specialist service dedicated to the diagnosis and management of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia, with clinics in Toowoomba, Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Based at St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital, our team of Consultant Haematologists, Medical Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and experienced administration professionals are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care close to home.

As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism

- Managing appointments, enquiries and patient bookings

- Answering telephone and email enquiries

- Managing patient check-in and check-out

- Processing payments and administrative tasks

- Updating patient information and medical records accurately

- Liaising with doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners

- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy

- Supporting the general administration and day-to-day running of the clinic

About You





We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced specialist medical environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration

- Friendly, professional and genuinely patient-focused

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

- Confident with technology and able to learn new systems quickly

- Reliable, proactive and willing to take initiative

- Familiar with medical practice software and healthcare privacy requirements desirable
