WE ARE HIRING – EXPERIENCED DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS FOR OVERNIGHT SUPPORT

We are urgently seeking compassionate, reliable and highly experienced Disability Support Workers to provide overnight support to a female NDIS participant.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Robust experience supporting participants with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities.
- Trauma-informed care experience, including CPTSD, anxiety and emotional distress.
- Experience supporting participants with neurological conditions, mobility difficulties and complex support needs.
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally during episodes of distress or non-epileptic seizures (PNES).
- Understanding of person-centred care, participant choice, dignity and independence.
- Experience with overnight support and sleepover shifts.

Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check




- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- National Police Check
- Relevant qualifications and references

We are looking for someone who: Is patient, gentle, understanding and emotionally mature. Someone who can build trust, respect personal boundaries and provide reassurance without being controlling or judgemental.

Consistency, reliability and the ability to help our participant feel safe and secure in her own home are extremely important.

Shifts: Overnight sleepovers, including weekdays and weekends.
