Role Description This is a full-time, remote Mortgage Broker role.

The Mortgage

Broker will meet virtually with clients to understand their financial situation, homeownership objectives, and borrowing capacity, then recommend suitable mortgage products and structures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and submitting loan applications, liaising with lenders, following up on approvals, and managing the process through to settlement. The role involves providing guidance on debt consolidation options, explaining loan features and obligations, and ensuring clients receive clear, compliant advice.

Broker will also support business growth through relationship-building, referral networks, and targeted mortgage marketing activities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in mortgage brokerage and working as a Mortgage Broker, with strong knowledge of lending products and policies.
- Skills in structuring finance solutions to improve clients’ financial positions.
- Experience with mortgage marketing and brokerage-related business development activities.
- Strong finance fundamentals, including understanding of interest rates, credit assessment, and loan affordability.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent) and compliance with local licensing requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines.
- Proficiency with mortgage CRM systems and basic office software; prior experience in the Australian lending market is highly beneficial.
