National Facilities Maintenance Manager

As National Facilities Maintenance Manager , you will be responsible for leading the maintenance operations and facilities services function across a large national footprint.

Managing a small team, you will oversee the delivery of largely reactive maintenance programs, contractor performance, compliance obligations and operational budgets, ensuring facilities are maintained safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Salary: In the region of $150,000 to $165,000 pkg per annum.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the operational delivery of maintenance and facilities services across a national network of sites.
- Managing and developing a team responsible for coordinating maintenance activities and service requests.
- Overseeing contractor performance across mechanical, electrical, fire and general building services.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are completed in accordance with operational requirements, service standards and compliance obligations.
- Managing operating budgets, forecasting, reporting and cost-control initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, contractor performance and operational efficiencies.
- Developing and implementing facilities management policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
- Monitoring compliance across building services, essential services and workplace safety requirements.




- Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure facilities support business operations and employee experience.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and service outcomes.

Skills & Experience:

- Significant experience leading facilities management, maintenance operations or building services functions.
- Experience managing multi-site operations across a national footprint.
- Strong contractor and vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of facilities, maintenance or operations teams.
- Sound financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, workplace safety and building services operations.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational execution.
- Trade, engineering, facilities management or related qualifications highly regarded.
- A collaborative and commercially minded leader with a continuous improvement mindset.
