Perry Bird Pickets is seeking an experienced and reliable Metal Fabricator / boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Brunswick. This is not repetitive factory work. Every project is different, with the opportunity to work on custom-made cast iron and steel fences, gates, veranda's.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricating and assembling cast iron and steel fences, gates, and veranda's
- Welding and fabrication of custom steel and cast iron components
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling components accurately
- Working on a variety of custom and period-style projects
- Workshop-based fabrication with some site work when required

About you

- Previous experience in welding, boilermaking and metal fabrication
- Strong practical welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Accurate measuring and excellent attention to detail




- Pride in producing high-quality workmanshipReliability and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Relevant trade qualifications are welcomed but not essential
