?️ Role: Network Engineer / Smart Hands Technician

Project Scope of Work (SOW):

- Device Staging
- Unpack devices and install required modules and rack-mount kits.
- Rack network switches and install power and stack cables.
- Connect devices to the network and perform power-on self-tests (POST).
- Verify patch downloads and apply hostnames and asset tags.
- Record device types, serial numbers, asset tags, and hostnames.
- Perform functional acceptance testing.
- Manage cables, dispose of packaging, and take photos.
- Provide console access and screen sharing when required.
- Migration & Cutover
- Perform cutover from the existing setup to the proposed setup.




- Move cables according to the recent configuration.
- Apply configuration changes to switches.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure applications are working properly.
- Provide hands-and-feet support for devices as required.

Required Tools & Equipment:

Engineers must bring their own basic smart-hands tools, including:

- Laptop with PuTTY installed
- Console cable
- Mobile phone with a good-quality camera
- Mobile hotspot
- Labelling machine
- Velcro and cable ties
- Basic hand tools
