Night Delivery Driver – Bread Distribution

Hours: Night shift commencing approximately 10:00 PM, with finish times varying depending on the delivery route.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused Night Delivery Drivers to join our team delivering fresh bread and bakery products to businesses throughout Melbourne.

You will drive company vans and/or trucks during the night and early morning, delivering crates and boxes of bread to our customers. This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting, loading and unloading, as well as careful and responsible driving.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vans and/or trucks on overnight delivery routes.
- Load and unload crates and boxes of bread and bakery products.
- Deliver products to businesses according to scheduled routes.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
- Complete deliveries efficiently and accurately.
- Drive extremely carefully and follow all road and company safety requirements.
- Follow delivery instructions and company procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Report any vehicle, delivery or customer issues.
- Work independently while maintaining communication with the team.
- Repeatedly lift and carry crates and boxes throughout the shift.

Essential Requirements
- Valid Victorian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
- Must be legally permitted to drive the required vehicle in Victoria.
- Good spoken English and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and our team.
- Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving.
- Comfortable driving at night and during early-morning hours.




- Physically capable of regularly lifting and carrying heavy crates and boxes.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers.

Safety Is Our Priority

This role involves driving company vehicles at night, often on busy roads and highways. Extremely careful and responsible driving is essential.

Drivers must always obey road rules, drive to the conditions and operate vehicles safely. Reckless or unsafe driving will not be tolerated.

Experience

Previous experience in delivery driving, courier work, truck/van driving, warehousing or distribution is preferred but not essential for the right applicant.
