Maintenance Fitter | Townsville

Haynes People is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading Australian fertiliser manufacturer in Bohle, Townsville.

Permanent full time

$95,000 + Super

Monday to Friday

5:45am - 2:15pm

About the role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of plant and equipment, including:

- Production equipment, conveyors, hoppers and blending systems
- Forklifts and front-end loaders
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Coordinating small maintenance projects
- Managing contractors and maintenance activities
- Sourcing parts and maintaining records in SAP or similar systems

To be successful you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Fitter or relevant experience
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience coordinating contractors or maintenance projects
- SAP or similar CMMS experience highly regarded
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
