Sestra People Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with solid experience using Terraform to join our client's team. This is a strategic role based in Melbourne, offering the opportunity to design, implement, and manage an Azure Cloud platfrom from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

- Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements and architectural best practices
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services, including virtual machines, App Services, databases, and networking components
- Manage cloud security, compliance, and identity and access management within Azure environments
- Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and resource utilisation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services and cloud deployments

What we're looking for





- 5 years + Proven experience designing and deploying Azure cloud infrastructure solutions in production environments
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, including virtual networks, load balancing, and security groups
- 4 years + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of Azure storage solutions, databases, and data management services
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of identity management and security best practices in cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams
- Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is highly desirable
