What you’ll be doing

Atturra Data & Integration is seeking an adaptable, relationship-focused Project Manager to support an IT-enabled delivery project for the Australian Defence Force.

This role will be working closely with the client and our cross-functional delivery team, you will bring clarity, co-ordination and momentum to a complex setting with evolving priorities.

The role requires a program-level perspective across interconnected workstreams, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and delivery coordination rather than direct management of technical teams.

Additionally, you must hold a current and active AGSVA NV1 security clearance and be available to work on-site five days per week at the Russell office in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and report on work packages, priorities, dependencies, risks and blockers across Commonwealth and delivery teams, maintaining a shared understanding of progress, responsibilities, and next steps
- Work with stakeholders to translate emerging requirements into practical actions, assess the implications of changing priorities and agree achievable delivery expectations
- Build trusted relationships, facilitate constructive conversations about constraints and trade-offs, and guide stakeholders towards agreed outcomes
- Apply a pragmatic approach to governance and planning, adapting the level of structure to the situation and proactively addressing gaps in coordination.

What will make you successful in this role?

- At least 7+ years’ experience delivering in complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in Defence, particularly across multiple interdependent workstreams, is desirable.
- NV1 clearance




- Full-time presence on client site in Russell
- Strong interpersonal skills - Comfortable navigating ambiguity, responding calmly to change and balancing flexibility with clear advice on delivery impacts
- A collaborative, hands‑on approach and a willingness to work across functional boundaries is critical.
