Rogertex NSW is an Australian owned business serving the building and construction industry. Based in Sydney, we provide painting, rendering, texture coatings and other finishing services for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team and deliver quality interior and exterior finishes across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out interior and exterior painting across commercial projects.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, filling cracks, patching defects and applying primers.
- Select, mix and match paints and coatings to meet project specifications.
- Apply paints, protective coatings and finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
- Protect surrounding surfaces, fixtures and fittings before commencing work.
- Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups and repairs to ensure a consistent, professional finish.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors and other trades to meet project schedules.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment and keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and complete allocated work within agreed timeframes.

About You:

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience in commercial or residential painting.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
- Experience working on construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- A valid White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- A reliable, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to commence immediately.

Skills and experience

- Relevant Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade qualification, or substantial relevant experience demonstrating equivalent skills.
- At least 2 years of relevant painting experience.
- Experience in interior and exterior painting and surface preparation.
- Knowledge of paint products, coating systems and application techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Robust attention to detail, reliability and commitment to safe working practices.
- Construction White Card.
