responsibilities · Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes, removing old paint or wallpaper, and applying sealants where required. · Examine surfaces and determine appropriate preparation and painting methods. · Mix and match paints, stains, and coatings to achieve required colours and finishes. · Apply paints, varnishes, stains, enamels, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. · Apply undercoats and finishing coats to a range of surfaces, including timber, metal, plaster, concrete, and masonry. · Operate and maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently. · Calculate and manage paint and material requirements for projects. · Ensure painting work is completed to company quality standards and project specifications. · Maintain clean and safe work areas, including the proper disposal of waste materials.



· Comply with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies at all times. · Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed on schedule Qualification &

experience To be successful in this role, you will have: · At least two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Painter. · A strong understanding of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods. · The ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Good communication skills and attention to detail. · A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. · A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to various work sites when required. · Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade qualification. · Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously within commercial, residential, or industrial environments About Company Da Vinci Projects is a Brisbane-based company established in 2006, specialising in painting.
