About the role
You'll provide in-home support to clients with their personal care and everyday needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting clients to maintain their dignity, choice and independence
- Providing friendly companionship and practical support
- Following individual support plans and Home Helpers' procedures
- Communicating professionally with clients, families and the Home Helpers team
About you
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support and/or Disability Support, or an equivalent relevant qualification
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- A warm, respectful and dependable approach to care
- Explicit communication skills and the ability to work independently
