RJ Garage Doors is looking for an Operations Manager who can see the prospect in a successful business and bring the team with them to achieve it. You will take responsibility for day-to-day performance while building the capability, customer relationships and operating discipline to support our next stage of growth.

Our ambition is substantial, sustained and profitable growth across our sales, installation and service activities. That means winning new accounts, growing repeat business, converting more enquiries into work and ensuring we have the people and processes to deliver well as volume increases.

You will have scope to shape how the business operates, with clear accountability for team performance, customer experience and commercial results. Your decisions will make a visible difference to the business and the people in it.

Where you will make your mark

Build a capable and accountable team. Lead and develop the office and sales teams. Set clear expectations, coach people in their roles and follow through on performance. Build cooperation between teams so customer commitments are understood and delivered.

Grow the business. Strengthen our retail, real estate,



insurance and SME builder networks, identify new accounts and develop relationships that generate repeat work. Coach the office and sales team to qualify enquiries, recognise opportunities and maintain consistent sales and service follow-up.

Improve delivery and customer experience. Bring scheduling, installation, service, suppliers and production together to keep work moving. Improve job readiness and handovers, reduce avoidable delays and rework, and resolve customer complaints and conflict with sound commercial judgement.

Drive performance across the business

Own the commercial performance. Manage P&L; performance, budgets, margins and operating costs with leadership and finance. Use the numbers to identify issues, prioritise action and deliver improvement. Keep invoicing and debtor follow-up moving so completed work becomes collected revenue.

Make improvement part of daily operations. Use CRM and performance reporting to improve enquiry conversion, account performance, job delivery and cash collection. Maintain accurate records and clear workflows, and ensure safe work practices and required procedures are followed.

What you will bring

You are an experienced Operations Manager, Branch Manager,



Service Manager or Business Manager who has led teams and improved business performance and proven business growth. Your background may be in garage doors, building products, trades, installation, field service or a comparable business with office and field teams.

We are looking for demonstrated experience in:

- Leading and developing teams, including practical coaching and performance management.
- Growing customer accounts or sales opportunities while maintaining strong service relationships.
- Managing P&L;, budgets and costs, with an understanding of margins and cash collection.
- Improving the coordination of enquiries, sales, scheduling and field delivery.
- Resolving customer and team issues confidently, fairly and promptly.
- Using systems and performance data to deliver measurable improvements.

You can move comfortably from a team conversation to a customer issue or a financial review. You set priorities, make decisions and see actions through. Most importantly, you can point to results you have achieved through the people you lead.
