Senior Caravan Repairer – Leading Hand (Training & Quality Control)

This is a step up from a straight repairer job. You will still do hands-on repair work, particularly the complex jobs. A large part of your week will also go to leading the workshop day to day, allocating jobs, setting priorities, and keeping work flowing. As a guide, expect roughly 60% on the tools and 40% leading, training and QC to start, with the leadership share growing as the team develops.

- Lead the workshop day to day: allocating jobs, setting priorities, keeping work flowing
- Train and mentor technicians and junior staff
- Quality control and final sign-off before vans go back to customers
- Help scope warranty and insurance jobs and check technical quotes
- Improve workshop processes and standards

About you

- Extensive caravan and RV repair experience across chassis, body, 12V, plumbing,

appliances and water damage
- Experience with warranty and insurance repair work
- Experience supervising, training or leading a team, as a leading hand or 2IC
- An eye for detail and high standards
- Explicit communication with both staff and customers
- Current driver's licence (a towing licence is a plus)
- Desirable: gas fitting licence, a trade qualification (automotive, cabinetmaking, electrical or similar), and familiarity with workshop management software
