Grolife Landscape Management | Full-Time Position

About the Role

Grolife Landscape Management is seeking a motivated, hands‑on Landscape Project Estimator to join our growing team.

This is a varied, practical role suited to someone with landscaping experience who enjoys getting out on site, preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and being involved in the delivery of projects from start to finish.

Working alongside another Estimator and the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating site inspections, assessing the scope of works, calculating labour and material requirements, preparing quotations and following approved projects through to completion with the project team.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring projects are well scoped, accurately priced, properly scheduled and delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Site Inspections & Scope of Works

- Arrange and coordinate site inspections with clients and relevant stakeholders.

- Attend sites to assess project requirements, site conditions and access constraints.

- Determine the full scope of works, identifying labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements.

- Identify potential issues, variations and additional opportunities during site inspections.

- Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and ensure the proposed scope meets their expectations.

Estimating & Quoting

- Prepare detailed, accurate and commercially viable quotations for landscape projects and associated works.

- Calculate labour, materials, equipment, plant and subcontractor costs.

- Source cost‑effective materials and suppliers while maintaining quality standards.





- Ensure quotations are completed within agreed timeframes and meet company pricing and profitability targets.

- Submit quotations to clients, follow up on pending approvals and assist in securing new work.

- Manage quotations, variations and relevant documentation through the company’s systems.

Project Coordination & Delivery

- Work closely with the Project Manager, fellow Estimator and project team to coordinate approved works.

- Assist with scheduling labour, equipment, materials and subcontractors.

- Support the handover of approved quotations into the delivery phase, ensuring the project team has a clear understanding of the scope, costs and requirements.

- Remain involved in projects after approval, assisting with coordination, client communication, variations and resolving scope-related issues.

- Monitor project progress and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, manage costs and achieve successful outcomes.

- Assist with project close‑out and client follow‑up to ensure works are completed to the agreed scope and customer expectations.

Client Relationships & Business Development

- Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients.

- Identify opportunities for additional project works and future business.

- Communicate clearly with clients throughout the estimating and project delivery process.





- Contribute to continuous improvement and the ongoing growth of Grolife Landscape Management.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines practical landscaping knowledge with strong estimating, organisational and communication skills.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in landscaping, landscape construction, landscape maintenance or a related industry.

- Experience estimating, quoting or coordinating landscape projects.

- The ability to interpret site requirements and develop a transparent, practical scope of works.

- Confidence calculating labour, materials, equipment and project costs.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple quotations and projects.

- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.

- Strong attention to detail and a commercial understanding of project profitability.

- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Project Manager and wider team.

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn and use job management systems.

- A current driver's licence.

- A current White Card.

Experience with Aroflo or similar job management and estimating software will be advantageous.
