About us

Compounded is an established, standalone compounding pharmacy in Alexandria, delivering personalised medicines to patients and practitioners across Australia. Our work covers hormones/BHRT, pain, sports medicine, dermatology, veterinary compounding & more. We work closely with GPs, specialists, vets and allied health practitioners.

The role

You’ll join our pharmacist team, supported by dedicated dispensary and compounding technicians.

Your responsibilities include

- Clinical review and dispensing of compounded prescriptions

- Supervising compounding in the laboratory

- Final checking of compounded products

- Providing formulation input and solving compounding problems

- Advising prescribers and patients on compounded medications

- Supporting the Pharmacist in Charge with SOPs and quality control in line with the Pharmacy Board of Australia’s Guidelines on compounding of medicines

About you





- General registration with AHPRA

- Compounding experience preferred but not essential. Full training provided, and new graduates are welcome

- Accurate, detail-focused and calm when it’s busy

- Confident communicating with prescribers, patients and the team

- Solid knowledge of the Poisons Standard and NSW poisons legislation

- Genuinely interested in learning compounding
