Bertram GP & Skin Clinic is seeking a motivated, professional and experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse (Practice Nurse) to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic nurse who enjoys working in a general practice workplace and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care. Part-time or Full-time positions available.
Key responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing support to GPs and patients
- Immunisations, vaccinations and injections
- Chronic disease management, health assessments and care planning
- Wound care, dressings and post-operative management
- Assisting GPs with minor surgical and skin cancer procedures
- ECGs, spirometry and other clinical assessments
- Infection control, sterilisation and clinical stock management
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting efficient practice operations
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse/ Enrolled Nurse
- Previous experience working in Australian general practice (strongly preferred)
- Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A friendly, compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards
- Experience in skin cancer medicine, wound management and immunisations will be highly regarded
