An exciting opportunity has become available within our dynamic Finance Team for a Payroll & Scheduling Officer on a 6-month maximum-term contract. Working closely with our Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time across The Ville Precinct.

Whether you're already working in payroll or looking to take the next step in your career, we're willing to upskill the right candidate who brings enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This is a maximum-term part-time position offering valuable exposure to payroll and workforce administration in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The Opportunity

As our Payroll & Scheduling Officer, you'll be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across The Ville Precinct. From onboarding recent team members to processing employee changes and maintaining payroll records, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our people are supported every step of the way.

What You'll Bring

You're organised, adaptable, and thrive in a role where accuracy matters. You'll also have:

- Experience or exposure to end-to-end payroll processes.
- Knowledge of payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- An understanding of Enterprise Agreements and relevant Awards (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with multiple departments.
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential information.




- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A resilient, positive attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
