/nA major organisation operating within a highly regulated and critical infrastructure environment is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to drive a significant Essential 8 cyber security uplift program./n
/nImportantly, this role will be responsible for taking a complex portfolio of security initiatives from mobilisation and business case development through to implementation, governance, operational readiness and transition into BAU. /n
/nThis is an opportunity for a hands-on, delivery-focused senior project/program leader who is comfortable operating in complex environments and able to start making an immediate impact./n
/n
/nThe Role/n
/nAn initial priority will be establishing delivery foundations, confirming scope, assessing dependencies and translating a prioritised uplift backlog into an integrated and achievable delivery roadmap./n
/nYou will lead the development of a compelling business case to secure funding and executive approval, before taking ownership of end-to-end delivery across the program./n
/nResponsibilities will include:/n /n
- Leading program mobilisation and delivery planning
/n
- Developing business cases, funding submissions and delivery options
/n
- Managing integrated schedules, milestones, risks and dependencies
/n
- Overseeing budgets, forecasts and change control processes
/n
- Driving governance, reporting and executive communications
/n
- Coordinating internal teams, vendors and delivery partners
/n
- Maintaining delivery discipline across multiple concurrent workstreams
/n
- Supporting senior leadership and governance forums with clear, concise reporting
/n /n
/n
/nAbout You/n
/nYou will bring proven experience leading complex Essential 8 cyber security programs, preferably within large, highly regulated, critical infrastructure enterprise environments./n
/nWe are particularly interested in professionals who have successfully:/n
/n /n
- Hands-on experience driving Essential Eight Maturity Level 2 uplift programs within complex enterprise-critical infrastructure environments.
/n
- Mobilised large cyber security programs from the ground up
/n
- Developed and secured approval for significant business cases or investment initiatives
/n
- Led delivery through implementation and operational transition
/n
- Managed multiple workstreams, stakeholders and delivery partners
/n
- Operated within strong governance and regulatory environments
/n /n
/n
/nRequired Experience/n
/n /n
- Essential Eight maturity uplift program delivery experience
/n
- Security compliance or cyber resilience initiatives
/n
- Critical infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities, transport or government environments
/n
- Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI), ISM or equivalent regulatory frameworks
/n
- Vendor and commercial management experience
/n
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or related certifications
/n /n
