We are seeking an experienced luxury fashion or premium menswear professional to join our Melbourne CBD store. This role is suited to someone who already understands luxury retail, styling, clienteling and the standards expected in a premium fashion setting.

About the role

You will deliver exceptional client experiences while supporting the Store Manager with sales performance, store operations and team leadership.

You will:

- Build and manage long-term relationships with private clients




- Deliver personalised styling and wardrobe consultations
- Manage made-to-measure shirting, suit, footwear and accessory orders
- Coordinate client, factory and production follow-up
- Support team performance, coaching and daily store leadership
- Manage point-of-sale, stock, merchandising and store administration
- Maintain exceptional visual, presentation and cleanliness standards
- Monitor buying trends, customer needs and competitor activity
- Prepare weekly reports covering sales, financials and client insights
- Maintain store rosters and manage staff hours
- Support stock planning, ordering and annual sale activity
- Contribute to marketing, wholesale, production, administration and events
- Propose initiatives to increase sales, traffic and market share
- Act as a strong ambassador for the Christian Kimber brand
- Exceed monthly sales and profitability targets

About you

This role is for an established fashion professional—not an entry-level retail position.

You must bring:

- Recent experience in luxury fashion, premium menswear or designer retail
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, Senior Sales Associate or Supervisor




- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and commercial outcomes
- Strong knowledge of menswear, styling, tailoring and luxury client service
- Experience building and managing a repeat private-client portfolio
- Confidence selling complete wardrobes and high-value garments
- Experience with made-to-measure, tailoring or custom orders is highly regarded
- Proven ability to coach, lead and develop retail team members
- Strong understanding of stock, POS, merchandising and retail administration
- Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence interpreting store performance
- Excellent organisation, follow-through and attention to detail
- Availability to work a retail roster, including weekends and key trading periods
