About the role

We're looking for experienced boners and skilled knife hands to join our poultry processing team in Bendigo. If you take pride in accurate cuts, strong yields and quality workmanship, we'd like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

You'll safely debone and trim chicken products to meet customer specifications, working accurately and efficiently in a refrigerated processing environment.

Your work will include:

- Deboning and trimming poultry with a focus on yield and product quality
- Using and maintaining knives safely
- Meeting production requirements while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Working closely with your team to keep production running smoothly

About you

Poultry boning experience is highly regarded. We also welcome applications from experienced beef, lamb and pork boners, butchers and meat trimmers.

If your knife skills come from seafood processing or commercial kitchens, tell us about your experience so we can discuss your suitability and any training required.

What’s on offer

- Permanent full-time / Part-time opportunities
- Base pay of $29.92 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable shift penalties

- Day shift: 5am-1pm, or afternoon shift: 1pm-9pm
- Role-specific training available for experienced knife hands moving into poultry
- Short-term relocation assistance available for eligible candidates relocating to Bendigo, subject to agreed conditions
