About our client

Our client, a well-established boutique law firm in Central Queensland, has been providing expert legal services for decades. Specialising in Property, Succession, Estates, Business, and Commercial law, they are seeking a motivated team member to join their busy firm in a full-time conveyancing position. This role offers the flexibility of remote work for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing both sale and purchase files for residential units, land, and houses from start to finish. You will work closely with our client's experienced lawyers, receiving their full support. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing sale and purchase files for residential properties from initiation to completion
- Demonstrating excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Learning quickly and showcasing strong problem-solving skills
- Working effectively in a team environment while being capable of working independently when needed
- Communicating effectively with clients, banks, and agents




- Drafting documents and preparing all settlement documents and adjustments
- Utilising legal software, such as Smokeball, efficiently

About You

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

- Proven experience in a conveyancing is highly favorable
- Immediate availability to start
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, banks, and agents
- Ability to draft documents accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in managing settlement documents and adjustments
- Familiarity with legal software like Smokeball
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
