About the role

As a Registered Property Valuer with AVR Consulting, you will inspect a wide variety of property and infrastructure assets and prepare clear, defensible valuation reports.

This role offers genuine variety, career development and the opportunity to build strong client relationships. Regular interstate travel and occasional overseas travel form part of the position.

You will work on interesting, diverse and often unique assignments across financial reporting and insurance purposes for a broad range of property and infrastructure assets, with clients ranging from local organisations to major entities operating across government, not-for-profit, education, healthcare, mining, power and energy, religious, commercial and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

- Inspect a wide variety of property and infrastructure assets and prepare clear, defensible valuation reports
- Manage your workload in collaboration with colleagues to meet agreed service levels and deadlines
- Apply quality and reporting standards consistently across every assignment
- Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders throughout each engagement
- Build and maintain trusted business relationships
- Contribute to a supportive team culture and share knowledge across the practice

About you

- Hold a bachelor's degree in property valuation
- Be either a Certified Practising Valuer or a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
- Be dependable,



positive and confident
- Be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of your work
- Be committed to delivering high-quality service and reports
- Be collaborative and team focused
- Be a strong written and verbal communicator
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and Word for report preparation
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Be experienced with GIS or keen to develop GIS capability (advantageous, but not essential)
