Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing flexibility in client scheduling and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Role Description The Psychologist will work on-site at Platinum Physiotherapy in Gosford, NSW, in a full-time capacity, providing high-quality, client-centered psychological services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual counseling and therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing pain, movement disorders, and associated mental health concerns. The role involves collaborating closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both physical and psychological needs.

The Psychologist will maintain accurate clinical documentation,



participate in case reviews, and contribute to patient education about pain, coping strategies, and mental health. This position also includes supporting the development of best-practice protocols and promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all clients.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Competence in Counseling and Psychological Assessment, including case formulation and treatment planning.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine or healthcare systems to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate skilled body.
- Experience working with clients managing chronic pain, movement disorders, or rehabilitation-focused presentations is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
