We are seeking an experienced and reliable Rigger to join our construction team, working across various construction projects throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out rigging operations safely and efficiently across our construction projects, working closely with site management, crane crew and other trades to ensure lifting activities are completed to the highest safety standards.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Rigger to join our construction team, working across various construction projects throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out rigging operations safely and efficiently across our construction projects, working closely with site management, crane crew and other trades to ensure lifting activities are completed to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out rigging and lifting operations in accordance with approved lift plans, SWMS and site safety requirements.

- Safely sling, secure, lift and position construction materials and equipment.

- Work closely with crane operators and site personnel to coordinate lifting activities.





- Inspect rigging equipment and lifting gear prior to use.

- Establish and maintain safe lifting and exclusion zones.

- Identify and report hazards, defects and unsafe conditions.

- Comply with all relevant WHS legislation, Australian Standards and company procedures.

- Assist with general site activities where required.

Skills and Requirements

- Current High Risk Work Licence – Rigger

- Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Demonstrated experience in rigging operations within the construction industry.

- Sound knowledge of lifting procedures, load handling and safe work practices.

- Ability to read and follow lift plans, SWMS and site instructions.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
