Your New Role

Manage the overall operational, budgetary responsibilities/activities and human resources of the Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD). Carry out and attain the mission and the goals of the department. Develop an employee-oriented departmental culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated knowledge of the processes of the Sterilizing Services Department, ability to monitor and manage work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.




- Demonstrated interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
- Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various employment practices and employee relations.
- Excellent organisational management skills.
