Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering with a global financial services organisation to appoint a Regional HR Business Partner, APAC, to join their Sydney office. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior business leaders and the Head of Human Resources, APAC, to drive strategic people initiatives across a dynamic and rapid-paced regional environment. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams across APAC, translating business objectives into people strategies that support organisational effectiveness, capability building, and business growth. The role will partner closely with stakeholders across multiple markets, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will collaborate with centres of excellence across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR solutions across recruitment, succession planning, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and workforce planning. The role will also play a key part in driving regional and global HR initiatives, ensuring alignment between business priorities, local market requirements, and global HR strategy.

In addition, the individual will provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, organisational restructuring, workforce changes, and complex people issues while balancing commercial considerations, employee experience, and regulatory requirements.



They will leverage workforce analytics and market insights to support data-driven decision-making and identify opportunities to strengthen organisational performance.

The role will also oversee key HR operational and governance processes, including employment documentation, employee movements, payroll coordination, policy compliance, and local employment law adherence across the region. The successful candidate will contribute to annual compensation reviews, talent development initiatives, employee engagement programmes, and broader regional HR projects.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Business Partner with exposure to supporting complex, matrixed organisations, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment. You will possess strong APAC employment law knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to influence senior leaders while operating as a credible and commercially minded trusted advisor.
