Southern.IML Pathology has a vacancy for a part time (full time will be considered) experienced Registered Nurse to work in central Wollongong. The position will be an integral part of the overall functions of the collecting department covering an area from Engadine to Gerringong.

This position requires a registered nurse with experience in clinical procedures, specimen collection and processing, documentation and liaising with doctors and patients in a skilled manner.

The successful applicant will be a nurse with administrative experience to support the administrative functions of the collecting department and provide support to the head of department and collecting supervisors. Previous experience with roster preparation and implementation would be advantageous.





We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in the management areas of quality and maintaining medical accreditation (medical practice and/or hospital clinic) with the ability to educate and train staff. Proficient computer skills including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products is essential.

The position requires a nurse who can work independently as well as in a supportive team environment, with good communication skills to deal with external customers, staff and accreditation organisations.

It is anticipated that the rostered hours will be between 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday with participation in a weekend roster as required.
