Senior Payroll Officer | 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Sydney NSW or Remote Anywhere in Australia Work Type: 6 Months Casual Contract, Full Time Hours An established global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to provide immediate operational support during a major payroll systems transformation. This role requires a payroll professional who can quickly take ownership of assigned payrolls and independently manage end-to-end payroll processing. You will play a key role in maintaining business-as-usual payroll operations while supporting a period of organisational change. Key Responsibilities End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls Maintain payroll records and employee data Process recent starters, terminations, salary increases and back pays Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and payroll legislation Manage leave,



overtime and attendance related payroll activities Resolve payroll queries from employees and management Complete payroll reporting and statutory obligations Reconcile payroll related general ledger accounts Assist with month-end payroll activities Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies To be successful, you will bring: Proven experience processing end-to-end payroll in medium to large organisations Strong hands-on experience using Preceda Experience working with time and attendance systems Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements Ability to work autonomously and confidently manage payroll deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Experience within manufacturing or similar complex payroll environments Workday experience Flexible remote working arrangement available Australia-wide Opportunity to support a major payroll transformation project Work with a high-volume, complex payroll environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
