What will make you successful? - Ideally, you will bring:
- 10+ years of flood engineering or water resources experience within an Australian engineering consultancy.
- Strong technical expertise in flood modelling, hydraulic analysis and flood risk management.
- Experience with TUFLOW and other recognised hydraulic modelling platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to develop and motivate engineering teams.
- Excellent relationships with clients, authorities and industry stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets, fee proposals and business development.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The ambition and professional maturity to progress into Director-level leadership.
The people and culture
- One of the real strengths of this opportunity is the working environment.
- You will be joining a flourishing, highly collaborative team where technical knowledge is shared, people support one another and professional development is genuinely encouraged.
- There is a refreshing emphasis on work-life balance, flexibility and creating an environment where engineers can enjoy their work while delivering outstanding results.
- This is a consultancy that recognises the importance of retaining good people, developing future leaders and maintaining a positive, supportive culture.

- You will have the opportunity to build your reputation within a nationally recognised consultancy, influence major projects and contribute to the strategic direction of an established engineering business.
